Şile is a Greek word and its Turkish translation is “Mercanköşk” which is a flower with nice smelling. It is a town of İstanbul with 55 km distance and its area is 736 km².

Şile lighthouse is 2nd biggest lighthouse in the world. Şile Castle, height of 12 meter, was built to protect the attacks coming from BlackSea.
